Leave my ears alone

Hello everyone,

I’m back today with a couple of good news.

First one: my friend called to let me know that the replay link is working and that he managed (without much trouble) to watch the replay he had submitted yesterday. Even though this is not a great leap forward, I’m happy to see that this part of blog is working.

Ok, let’s get this started

Hi there, folks

I’ve been having quite some problems in getting this guide up and running and I think it might still be a while before it is completely functional. I know, I know… It kinda sucks in many ways, but that’s life. Anyway, enough with the grievance and let’s talk HoN!

A friend of mine gave me a rather intricate suggestion yesterday:

‘Hey man, why don’t you post some replays of games so that people can watch actual HoN footage? It’s kinda obvious isn’t it? And people can even upload their own stuff and etc…’

Erm… ahm… replays… ah… man… uhmm… uhh… I hate your whole face off.

I hadn’t even dreamed of getting some replays in here in the first place. Well, I liked the idea anyway. And that’s exactly what I’m into right now.

I’m trying to find some online free storage (since WordPress won’t accept my HoN replay files)… The problem is: this might prove a little tricky. As it seems, people don’t like to do stuff for free anymore. Everybody is charging for everything. It’s amazing brutal capitalism. I can’t even ask my friends to pass me the butter, because they’ll reply “Five bucks man… and we’re talking money”. Where’s the sense of human dignity in our modern society??!

So, I resorted to the all-knowing master of the web: Google. And there it is. I resolved to abuse Google Groups’ 100 MB of free storage and I’m putting the replays there for a while. I hope it works =X

By the way, if you want to have your replay posted on this blog, you could just e-mail us @ honnoobguide@yahoo.com. Don’t forget to attach your replay. Most probably, if you send something, we’ll publish it, after all, we only get like 45 views a day… which means there can’t be much competition for this space.
